Do you want to help create a safer and more secure Stockholm County?
- Are you motivated to develop collaboration between authorities and community actors in the county?
- Are you prepared to quickly adapt and contribute during societal disturbances?
Then we are curious to learn more about you!
What does the role include?
As a collaboration coordinator at the Stockholm Region Collaboration (SSR), you will play a central role in strengthening the county's collective capacity in civil protection, preparedness, and crisis management.
The Stockholm Region Collaboration serves as a joint platform for planning and managing societal disturbances and crises, and is crucial in the work for a safe, secure, and disruption-free region.
You will work at a coordination office located at the County Administrative Board. The office functions as an independent resource with a broad and flexible mandate that requires strong collaboration, analytical, and developmental skills. The work involves close contact with the county's actors – such as municipalities, Region Stockholm, the Swedish Transport Administration, the Police Authority, and the Armed Forces.
Your main tasks will be to:
- support the development of the county's collective capacity in crisis preparedness, heightened readiness, and war, based on the adopted goals, both in the short and long term
- continuously support and coordinate the county's actors in need of coordination within civil protection and preparedness, for example through joint training, exercises, and prepared plans
- follow up on the county's handling of incidents and, if necessary, propose and implement improvement measures
- act as a joint resource in a collaborative staff during events of regional significance
- plan, implement, and follow up on meetings and conferences at various collaboration levels, and represent joint interests in external forums
- be a joint, independent resource tasked with acting for the benefit of the county and the Stockholm Region Collaboration.
Are you the one we are looking for?
For this role, we want you to have:
- a university degree or other education deemed relevant by the employer
- current experience in crisis management work deemed relevant by the employer
- very good written and verbal communication skills
- experience working with preparedness issues in the public sector.
You gain energy from creating and maintaining good relationships with others. You are motivated by taking responsibility and have a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to work. Seeing the big picture, creating structure, and making priorities come naturally to you, as does achieving direction and coordination. You take the initiative to achieve results and are unpretentious and flexible. You also have a high security awareness and always act with integrity and judgment in your work.
We place great importance on personal suitability and see it as natural that you contribute to a good working climate. As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you need to:
- be able to make decisions based on a holistic view, considering multiple perspectives,
- understand that a central role for the County Administrative Board is to balance different interests
- have the ability to prioritize and adapt to work with new tasks or in new contexts.
It is advantageous if you have:
- experience working with any of the actors within the Stockholm Region Collaboration,
- experience as a manager or in other leadership roles
- experience in driving collaboration between authorities and municipalities.
